Rainer was born on April 16, 1970 in Ingolstadt, Bavaria, Southern Germany. After finishing High School 1989 he headed for Vienna, Austria to attend University.
In 1990 he set off on a full year journey around the world, providing him with insight into a multitude of cultures and new impressions. After another 3 years University in Vienna, he traveled northern Africa and crossed the Sahara desert twice.
Rainer earned his Dipl.Ing.arch (Masters Degree in Architecture) at the School of Architecture & Urban Planning of the Technical University of Vienna in 1998. In the same year he decided to join his fiancée Pinar, who wanted to do her medical residency in the United States, where they got married in 1999.
Rainer currently lives in Fairfield, Connecticut with his wife Pinar, 4 year old daughter Yasmin and baby boy Bora.

In 2001 Rainer joined his colleagues Kevin & Stephen to establish an Architectural Firm in Stamford, Connecticut.

Besides practicing Architecture, Rainer has a passion for music, scientific philosophy, cooking and sailing the seas.
