Kevin was born in Norwich, Connecticut on August 17,
1957, descended from a long line of hearty french canadians. Interested
in architecture from childhood his career began at age 15 when he began
studying architectural drafting, served as an apprentice draftsman and
learned construction techniques as a contractor's part-time helper.
Through the 1980's and 90's he worked toward furthering his understanding of building and design by layering crucial segments of experience on the foundations established earlier. He has held positions of draftsman, team leader, project captain, project manager and director of production for several different sized local firms. In 1998 he helped establish Partners For Architecture, an organization he believes can re-establish the traditional role of the architect as master planner, developing organic based solutions to architectural problems while respecting the environment. In addition to his passion for architecture, Kevin spends his free time taking and developing black and white photography, reading and studying history, playing golf and traveling locally and abroad. He lives near the shore in West Haven, Connecticut with his wife,
Michelle and daughter Alexa. If allowed the reality of one dream it
would be to retire with his family to Santorini, the small cycladic
island in the Aegean, where he would write about life and architecture,
sip Ouzo and experience every sunset. |
